Press Release Body: Art of the Monologue is a unique collection of original
monologues that can be used as for class exercises, audition material and
collectively as a full theatrical production called "52 Pickup."

One of Catalano\'s inspirations for writing the book, was that a good number of his
students hated doing monologues and always had difficulty finding something that was
right for their particular casting type or talents.

Catalano is a member of the School of Theatre faculty of the University of Southern
California.
